HU students nominated for NACEsports National Awards

Harrisburg University congratulates students Lynzie Wagaman and Trevor Goodrich, who were both recognized as Finalists in the first National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACEsports) National Awards!

These students have demonstrated tireless work ethic and dedication to the Storm, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, and the greater Esports industry.

Wagaman, a freshman Esports Management major at Harrisburg University, has been nominated for the “Women’s Student Leader of the Year” award. She is an intern with HU Esports social media manager John Macone, assisting with Graphic Design for the Storm’s social media channels. She also is involved with the HUEC (Esports club).

Goodrich, a sophomore Esports Management major, has been nominated for the “Collegiate Shoutcaster of the Year” award. Also an intern who works with Macone, Goodrich is the Harrisburg University Storm’s stream technician and Shoutcaster. He also will host the HU Overwatch National Championship stream at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 18 at: //www.twitch.tv/harrisburguniversity.

Winners will be announced at the NACE National Convention on July 24th.
